A DIFFERENT KIND OF KENNEL STAY

Space to settle.
Time to be themselves.

Fortuna Park is intentionally small. That means we can learn each dog's normal, notice the little things and shape their stay around the routines that help them feel secure.

Dogs are never mixed with dogs from another household. Each guest enjoys their own accommodation, individual grassed run and private paddock time, without the pressure of a large group environment.

01

Their own space

Individual accommodation and a grassed run, with household companions able to stay together where suitable.

02

Private paddock time

Daily time outside to sniff, move, toilet, play or simply wander at their own pace.

03

Personal routines

Meals, medication and established care routines can be followed with clear instructions from home.

04

Experienced eyes

A veterinary nurse, qualified trainer, groomer and registered breeder lives on the property.

OUR KENNELS

Practical and secure.
Comfort through the seasons.

Our kennels are built from brick, concrete and secure wire, creating straightforward spaces that are easy to keep clean and comfortable.

We are best suited to small and medium dogs. Larger dogs may be considered individually, depending on their size, temperament and care needs.

01

Solid construction

Brick, concrete and secure wire accommodation designed for safety, hygiene and everyday comfort.

02

Summer comfort

Cool-mist systems and fans help keep air moving and guests comfortable through the hotter months.

03

Paddle-pool play

Paddle pools are available for dogs who enjoy cooling off and playing in the water.

A CALM, FLEXIBLE RHYTHM

A day shaped
around the dog.

We keep the day predictable without making it rigid. Weather, age, confidence, health and what each dog enjoys all influence how their time is spent.

  1. Morning

Health check, breakfast & fresh air

Every guest is checked, fed to their normal plan and given time outside to begin the day.

  2. Daytime

    Paddock time, enrichment & rest

Private outdoor sessions are balanced with quiet downtime so dogs are not kept in a constant state of excitement.

  3. Evening

    Dinner, final outing & settle

The pace slows for dinner, medication where required, another comfort check and a restful night.

SCENT · TEXTURE · COLOUR · CHOICE

A garden made
for curious noses.

Sniffing is a natural, absorbing activity. Our sensory planting gives dogs an unhurried opportunity to investigate different aromas, textures and colours.

Our full collection includes thirteen carefully chosen living plants. Availability changes with the seasons, and every garden visit is supervised and adapted to the individual dog.

The gardens are for enrichment—not treatment. Concentrated essential oils are not used.

CARE THAT NOTICES THE DETAILS

For the dogs who need
a little more thought.

Medication welcome

We can administer routine medication when supplied in original packaging with clear written directions. Dogs taking anti-anxiety medication are assessed individually.

Meals from home

Bring their normal food, portioned and labelled, to keep diet changes and tummy upsets to a minimum.

Behaviour-aware care

Please tell us about anxiety, aggression, fears, handling sensitivities and coping strategies when booking so we can assess whether boarding is appropriate.

Emergency support

If veterinary attention is needed, we will contact you or your nominated emergency person and arrange appropriate care.

GETTING YOUR DOG READY FOR A STAY

Start small.
Build familiarity.

Most dogs settle into kennels or adjust well with time. Many look forward to coming back and are genuinely happy to be here.

01

Try one night first

If your dog is new to boarding and you are planning an extended holiday, begin with an overnight sleepover during an off-peak school-term period.

02

Build up gradually

A two- or three-day stay is a helpful next step, giving your dog time to become familiar with us, the kennels and the surrounds.

03

Prepare for peak periods

Familiarity can make a longer stay much easier, especially during busier periods when there is more activity and noise.

SIMPLE, TRANSPARENT PRICING

Everything they need,
included.

Boarding is charged by calendar day, not by each 24 hour period. The arrival day and collection day are both included because a kennel is reserved and staffed for your dog on each of those days. For example, a Friday arrival and Sunday collection is charged as three days. Your dog's normal food is supplied by you so we can keep their diet consistent.

ONE DOG$45

per calendar day

TWO DOGS$80

per calendar day · same household

FFORTUNA-BRED DOG$35

per calendar day

A note about our new rates

With the start of the 2026–27 financial year, we have made a small increase to our boarding rates. We have kept the increase as low as possible because we know the cost of living is hard on everyone. Unfortunately, rising power, insurance, cleaning, maintenance and other essential costs affect us too. Thank you for understanding and for supporting our small, family-run business.

Planning a longer stay?

Submit your dates through our booking system and we will confirm availability, suitability and any care details before the stay. Peak-season surcharges may apply.
