Boarding Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to all Fortuna Park dog boarding bookings.

Boarding services

Fortuna Park provides a safe, clean and caring environment, suitable shelter and bedding, clean water, the agreed feeding plan, appropriate exercise, enrichment, companionship and medication administration according to the owner's written instructions.

Suitability and disclosure

Small-to-medium sterilised dogs are our standard fit. Larger and/or unsterilised dogs may be accepted only by prior arrangement where Fortuna Park assesses the individual dog as suitable. Owners must fully disclose medical conditions, medication, allergies, anxiety, aggression, reactivity, escape behaviour, handling sensitivities, infectious-disease exposure and special-care needs. Fortuna Park may refuse or end a stay where safe care cannot be provided.

Health requirements

Dogs must meet the current Fortuna Park vaccination and health requirements advised at booking, be free from contagious disease for at least 14 days before arrival, and be fit to board. Owners must contact us before booking about any medical, behavioural or special-care needs. Appropriate identification and a secure collar must be provided.

Food, medication and belongings

Owners supply the dog's usual food, clearly portioned and labelled. Medication must be in original packaging with clear written directions. Belongings are provided at the owner's risk; Fortuna Park is not responsible for ordinary loss or damage to bedding, toys, leads or similar items.

Fees and calendar-day charging

Rates are $45 for one dog per calendar day, $80 for two dogs from the same household per calendar day, and $35 for an FFortuna-bred dog per calendar day. The arrival and collection days are both charged because accommodation is reserved and staffed on both days. A Friday arrival and Sunday collection is three calendar days. Peak-season surcharges may apply where advised.

Veterinary care and emergencies

The owner authorises Fortuna Park to seek veterinary treatment when reasonably required and agrees to pay all related veterinary, transport and additional-care costs. We will attempt to contact the owner or nominated emergency contact first where circumstances allow.

Collection, conduct and appointments

The owner or emergency contact must promptly collect a dog if Fortuna Park determines the stay cannot safely continue. Visits, inspections, drop-offs, pick-ups, training and venue access are by appointment only. Dogs must remain secured and under owner control until handed over.

Bookings, changes and cancellations

A request is not confirmed until accepted by Fortuna Park. Changes, cancellations, shortened stays, late collections and no-shows are handled under the Cancellation & Refund Policy. By submitting and confirming a booking, the owner accepts these detailed terms and the information supplied through PetManager.
